What is Greenroom?
Greenroom is a place to rehearse job interviews and presentations out loud. An AI Assistant, a virtual interviewer, asks you questions on camera, or you can run through a talk on your own. Afterward you get feedback on your pace, filler words, eye contact and posture, plus a transcript and your recording.
How much does Greenroom cost?
Greenroom Preview is free while we build, with unlimited interviews. A Standard plan is planned at $5 for 5 credits, where each interview or presentation session uses 2 credits.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Create a free account with your email and a password to start practicing. You stay signed in for 24 hours.
What do I need to use Greenroom?
A computer with a camera and a microphone, and the Chrome or Edge browser. Greenroom runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install.
How does the AI interviewer work?
The AI Assistant speaks each question, listens while you answer, and moves on once you have been quiet for a few seconds. By default the questions come from a bank matched to your role and job description. With the optional AI features on, Anthropic's Claude writes the questions and the AI Assistant can ask follow-ups based on your answers.
Can I practice for a specific job?
Yes. Paste the job description when you set up an interview and Greenroom turns its responsibilities and requirements into questions. You can also write the exact questions you want to rehearse.
What is the difference between Practice mode and Mock mode?
Practice mode shows live cues while you answer and lets you pause, skip and go back. Mock mode works like a real interview: no tips and no pausing, with all the feedback in the summary afterward.
Can I practice a presentation instead of an interview?
Yes. Name your presentation, present to the camera, and end whenever you finish. You get live cues on pace, filler words and eye contact, then a summary with your recording beside the transcript.
What feedback does Greenroom give?
Greenroom measures habits you can see and change: words per minute, filler words, long pauses, eye contact with the camera, expressiveness, head movement and posture. Interviews also get answer length per question and STAR-style action items. Greenroom does not read emotions or predict whether you will get a job.
Is my video or audio uploaded?
No. Your video, audio and transcripts are analyzed and stored in your browser, and you can download or delete them any time from Settings. The optional AI features, which are off by default, send text only (never video or audio) to Anthropic's Claude.
