Interview practice AI mock interview practice that talks back

Practice job interviews out loud with an AI Assistant, a virtual interviewer that asks real questions, listens to your answers and can follow up. Afterward you get a straight read on what you said and how you came across.

Best in Chrome or Edge on a computer with a camera and microphone.

How a practice interview works

Set up your interview

Enter the job title and paste the job description, or write the exact questions you want to rehearse.

Answer out loud

Turn on your camera and mic. The AI Assistant speaks each question, then waits until you have been quiet for a few seconds before moving on.

Review your summary

Get scores, a question-by-question breakdown, action items, a transcript and your recording to download.

Questions tailored to the job you want

Paste a job description and Greenroom turns its responsibilities and requirements into interview questions, so you rehearse for the role in front of you rather than a generic list. You can also write your own questions. Every interview opens the way most real ones do: "Tell me about yourself and walk me through your resume."

With the optional AI features on, Anthropic's Claude writes the questions and the AI Assistant can ask follow-ups based on what you just said, the way a real interviewer would.

Practice mode or Mock mode

Practice mode shows live cues on the side while you answer, and lets you pause, skip and go back. It is best while you are learning your habits. Mock mode is the real thing: no tips and no pausing, with everything waiting for you in the summary afterward.

Feedback after every interview

  • Scores for the session
  • A question-by-question breakdown, with how long each answer ran
  • STAR-style action items for stronger answers
  • A full transcript and your recording to download

What the AI Assistant listens and watches for

Greenroom measures observable habits you can change. It does not guess your emotions or predict a hiring decision.

Speech

  • Words per minute
  • Filler words
  • Long pauses

Face

  • Eye contact with the camera
  • Smiling and expressiveness
  • Head movement

Body language

  • Upright and level shoulders
  • Slouching and leaning
  • Restless movement

Your practice stays private

Video, audio and transcripts are analyzed and stored in your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you switch on the optional AI features, which send text only (never video or audio) to Anthropic's Claude.
